The summer 2022 issue of St. Tammany Health System’s quarterly Heart to Heart magazine is now available. (STHS photo illustration)
When in Rome, the saying goes, do as the Romans do.
And when in Folsom? Well, that’s horse country, so when you go there you saddle up and ride.
That’s what St. Tammany Health System is doing with its newest Therapy and Wellness Center location. In addition to offering a full slate of physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services, the new location also offers hippotherapy – the art and science of therapeutic horseback riding.
The health system’s new hippotherapy program is spotlighted as the cover story on our hot-off-the-presses summer 2022 edition of Heart to Heart, a quarterly magazine highlighting good news and updates from St. Tammany’s hometown hospital.
