Primary Care

Founded in 1954 as St. Tammany Parish Hospital, St. Tammany Health System has grown over the decades to include dozens of satellite locations throughout western St. Tammany Parish. Among them are our St. Tammany Physicians Network primary care clinics, which meet the outpatient needs of the community from newborn to geriatric care in Covington, Mandeville, Folsom and Madisonville.

Women and Children’s Services

As the leading provider of maternity care on the Northshore for decades, our Women and Children’s Services includes our New Family Center, which has earned us recognition as a Baby-Friendly hospital. It also includes our Women’s Pavilion, which has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. And it includes a broad array of children’s health services, such as our specialized pediatric orthopedics offerings, pediatrics speech and physical therapy programs, our Pediatrics Emergency Department and, with our partners at Ochsner Health, the Ochsner Hospital for Children at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

STPH Orthopedic and Spine Care

When you’re hurting, it’s hard to think about anything else. But when it comes to orthopedic care on the Northshore, there’s really nothing to think about: St. Tammany Health System is far and away the proven leader. Through our conveniently located Bone and Joint Clinic in Covington and our partnership with Ochsner Health, we offer a full range of orthopedic care for all types of patients, from pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine to robotic-assisted total knee and hip replacement and physical therapy.
