Your gifts to St. Tammany Health Foundation fuel innovation, compassion and hope. In 2025 alone, the Little Grant, Big Impact program offered by the foundation awarded more than $315,000 to departments across the health system, addressing real needs identified by St. Tammany Health System's frontline teams. 

Some examples of these grants include:

  • "Battle Blankets" for patients undergoing breast flap procedures. 
  • Equipment such as bladder scanners, a Venoscope for the NICU, portable ultrasound machines, and new exercise equipment for the outpatient physical therapy clinic​
  • Training and education initiatives for staff like Emergency Nursing Pediatric courses and Charge Nurse Training programs​
  • Patient-centric needs such as portable gaming carts and equipment for the pediatric unit, sensory-friendly toys for the Parenting Center, and emergency weather kits for Hospice patients
